Microsoft today announced the availability of My Phone in beta version.


Microsoft today announced the availability for the general public to its free My Phone in beta. My Phone allows you to synchronize SMS, photos, videos, address book, calendar and music with the Web.

Thanks to the free My Phone, users can now save the entire contents of their phone by transferring personal data stored in the memory of their phone to a server online access to which is password protected. The operations of synchronization and backup being automatically, the user is satisfied that the information in the address book, its agenda, its SMS and other data are updated and can be easily retrieved in case of loss or change phone. It will also be able to automatically transfer music, photos and videos of its Windows Mobile ® phone service to my phone, a feature that will facilitate the storage of content that until now were confined to a single terminal.

Starting today, all users of Windows Mobile ® phones (Windows Mobile ® 6.0 or 6.1) will be able to download and use the service immediately by visiting the address http://myphone.microsoft.com . This service is available in 25 languages on Windows Mobile ®.
